WEEK COURSE - ADVANCED II PART 1 & 2

Y GYMRAEG YN Y GYMRU GYFOES (WELSH IN CONTEMPORARY WALES)

A unique and contemporary course discussing the experience of living in a bilingual society.

The course will look at the factors that have shaped our bilingual communities, the diversity and minorities that make up those communities and the organisations that support the day-to-day use of Welsh.

The course addresses history, psychology, science, sociology and contemporary culture all within the context of Welsh as a living language in Wales.

You will have plenty of opportunities to practice your Welsh and to discuss all aspects of bilingualism and multilingualism. It will be an opportunity to learn, to develop your language skills and boost your confidence allowing you to use your Welsh in all types of situations.

Every Higher 2 course is suitable for Welsh learners (Higher level) or native Welsh speakers who want to learn more about their history and culture.
