We hold virtual conversational sessions for Duolingo learners, and refer our learners to the ap, to practise and use their Welsh.

About us

The National Centre for Learning Welsh is responsible for all aspects of the Learn Welsh sector - from curriculum and course development to e-learning and marketing.

Online taster courses and digital resources

Why not try out your Welsh on our online taster courses.  These courses introduce everyday words and phrases and are available to everyone, for free.

You can speed up your learning by using these free digital resources. The resources go hand in hand with the Learn Welsh course books at Entry, Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced 1, 2 and 3 learning levels. More information about our course books is available here.
