A lesson discussing museums – and the Museum of Wales in particular – has been prepared for Uwch/Advanced classes to promote a new festival for Welsh learners, ‘Ar Lafar’, held on 22 April.
The one-day event will be held at three of the museum’s sites across Wales – St Fagans National History Museum, Cardiff, Swansea’s National Waterfront Museum and the National Slate Museum in Llanberis – and the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth.
The festival’s aim is to give learners and their families an opportunity to socialize and practise their Welsh in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, while enjoying the treasures of the Museum and National Library.
A form for learners, notes for tutors, Powerpoint presentation and sound file are available as part of the lesson. For more information contact office@learnwelsh.cymru
