The Senior Leaders Welsh Language Course is designed for headteachers, senior leaders and school improvement leaders who wish to develop their own Welsh language skills and increase their use of Welsh in professional and everyday school contexts.
Delivered through online self-study learning, the course is divided into Part 1 and Part 2, with each part requiring approximately 10 hours of study. Participants can complete the learning flexibly at a time that suits their professional commitments.
The course focuses on practical Welsh language skills that can be used in meetings, presentations, conversations with colleagues, communication with pupils and parents, and wider leadership activities. It aims to build confidence and support leaders to model the use of Welsh within their schools and organisations.
