The Blasu (Taster) courses are short, self-study courses that help you to start using simple Welsh at work. They have been designed for people working in health and social care in Wales who are new to Welsh. Tutor support is available to help you with your learning.

The Codi Hyder (Confidence Building) programme helps you use more Welsh in the workplace. It offers tailored one-to-one tutor support for people working in health and social care in Wales who have spoken Welsh in the past and want to start using it again with confidence. It is available to all health and social care workers in Wales.

The Health and Care Speaking Support Scheme pairs health professionals who are learning Welsh with colleagues who are confident Welsh speakers. The scheme provides a friendly, informal environment where learners can practise speaking Welsh and build their confidence.

Residential courses are available for people working in health and social care in Wales. They take place at Nant Gwrtheyrn, the National Welsh Language and Heritage Centre, on the Llŷn Peninsula in North Wales.
These five-day courses are free for health and social care workers in Wales. They offer an opportunity to improve your Welsh, build your confidence and practise using the language with other learners in a friendly and supportive environment.
