Who are we?
Meet the team
The Centre employs 24 full and part-time staff.
Under the leadership of the Chief Executive, Dona Lewis, the Centre is divided into four directorates.

Deputy Chief Executive and Strategic Director.
The Strategic Directorate is responsible for provision for 16-25 year olds, families, and the Education Workforce.
Director of Learning and Teaching.
The Learning and Teaching Directorate is responsible for curricular aspects.
Director of Marketing and Communications.
The Marketing and Communications Directorate is responsible for recruitment, engagement, public relations, and brand development.
Director of Planning and Development.
The Planning and Development Directorate is responsible for finance, performance management systems, and various projects, including workplace schemes.
Board of Directors
The National Centre for Learning Welsh is a company limited by guarantee and without share capital. The sole member of the company under the Memorandum of Association is the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.

These members are directors; there are additional non-executive members from among the Centre’s staff, as well as Alun Jones, Chair of the Centre's Advisory Board, who is an observer.
Advisory Board
Under the company’s Articles of Association, an Advisory Board was established, which ensures that the Centre achieves its strategic objectives and delivers services to the Learn Welsh sector.
