For Who: English-medium Primary (Foundation Phase and/or KS2) School Teachers with some basic Welsh skills.
Level:
Term 1- Foundation Level
Term 2 – Intermediate Level
Term 3 – Higher Level
Duration: 3 school terms, full time
Learning Method: Blended delivery
Location: 3 days online and 2 days in a local ‘Hub’
Course Aim:
- Focus on language skills and aim towards fluency by the end of the year
- Extend teaching assistants’ language skills when using the Welsh language in their work both verbally and in writing in a professional context.
- To enable the teaching assistants to support the teachers and learners confidently through the medium of Welsh.
