(Part 1 & 2) This course builds on Entry level and is suitable for those who already speak very basic Welsh. The main emphasis will be on speaking the language, with a chance to discuss everyday matters such as family and friends, work and leisure.

This course will start from Unit 8 in the Foundation Course Book in September before progressing to the Intermediate Course.

It usually takes around 2 years to complete a level (i.e. Entry, Foundation etc.) if you attend a class once a week.

It's possible to complete a level in one year on an intensive course (4 hours or more per week) or on a Combined Course where you are expected to complete at least 2 hours of independent online learning before each lesson.

On Accelerated Courses (8 hours per week) it is possible to complete 2 levels in a year.
