Rapid Review of the National Centre for Learning Welsh
The Centre’s response to the Government’s Rapid Review
Efa Gruffudd Jones, Chief Executive of the National Centre for Learning Welsh, says:
“The Centre’s team welcomes the recommendations set out in the Government’s Rapid Review, which follow Estyn’s positive report published earlier this year.
“Since the Centre was set up in 2016, we’ve taken major steps to ensure consistency and raise standards for our learners. Digital innovation has been a priority from the beginning, along with creating exciting and varied opportunities for our learners to enjoy using their Welsh. The entire sector has responded in a positive way to the challenges of the pandemic, maintaining and extending our service to our learners.
“I would like to thank everyone who plays a part in this dynamic sector, both learners and staff. We’re looking forward to working with the Government to put the report’s recommendations into action.”
