Who is the National Centre for Learning Welsh?
The National Centre leads the Learn Welsh sector and works with providers across Wales to hold a range of courses. More people than ever are learning Welsh, and 18,330 people completed our courses in 2023-2024. We welcome people from all backgrounds to enjoy learning and using their Welsh. Celebrating Learning Welsh Week
During 11-17 October, BBC Radio Cymru and S4C will host a week-long celebration of learning Welsh, Wythnos Dathlu Dysgu Cymraeg. It’s an opportunity to hear stories from Welsh learners, and enjoy items and programmes for learners and new speakers of Welsh.
