Everyone at the National Centre for Learning Welsh was sad to hear the news about the death of Kevin Davies in Quatar. A spokesperson for the Centre said:
"It is with a very heavy heart that we heard of the passing of Kevin Davies. Kevin was a great supporter of the Welsh language, and it was a privilege to work with him as he led the Learn Welsh provision in Pembrokeshire until his retirement.
"Thousands of learners of Welsh benefited from his dedication and commitment.
"He also made a great contribution to the work of Urdd Gobaith Cymru over the years, both locally and nationally.
"We extend heart-felt condolences to his family and friends."
