Do you work in the field of Dementia in Wales?
Would you like to learn a little Welsh to use in your work?
As part of the National Centre for Learning Welsh's Health and Social Care Scheme, new Learn Welsh courses have been created to support the Dementia workforce in Wales.
We offer two Entry-level courses for beginners:
Entry Course Part 1 (North Wales version)
Entry Course Part 1 (South Wales version)
We also offer Confidence-Building sessions for people who haven't used Welsh for a while, but who'd like to use the language at work.

The Neurodiversity and Dementia plans are part of the National Centre for Learning Welsh’s wider provision to support the Health and Social Care workforce to develop the skills and confidence to use Welsh in their work. By working closely with the sector to plan flexible, purpose-built provision that responds to workforce needs, the programme is an important step towards delivering the Welsh Government’s More Than Just Words policy.
