Learn Welsh courses

Learn Welsh courses are available at different learning levels, during the daytime and evening.

You can learn face-to-face or in a virtual classroom.

'Welsh at Home' courses are also available.  These courses for beginners have been tailored for parents and carers.

Clwb Cwtsh

The Clwb Cwtsh scheme is a partnership between the National Centre for Learning Welsh and Early Years' specialists, Mudiad Meithrin.

The Clwb Cwtsh features informal, light-hearted learning sessions which are available for free.

You'll learn words and phrases to use with your young children, using songs and games.

Courses for homeschooling parents

Are you a homeschooling parent? Interested in learning a little Welsh to use at home?

As part of the National Centre for Learning Welsh’s programme for the Education Workforce, new Learn Welsh courses have been created to support homeschooling parents.

We offer four Entry-level courses for beginners. New courses are starting in February, April and May.
