Ar Lafar - diolch!

Ar Lafar - diolch!

Over 600 Welsh learners attended the first ever 'Ar Lafar' festival, held on 22 April at four sites across Wales: St Fagans National History Museum, Cardiff, the National Waterfront Museum, Swansea, National Slate Museum, Llanberis and the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth.

The aim of the festival, held by the National Centre for Learning Welsh in partnership with Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales and the National Library of Wales, was to give learners and their families an opportunity to socialise and use their Welsh in an informal, relaxed setting.

A range of activities was available at each site - from behind-the-scenes tours to quizzes and workshops.  Visitors were also able to enjoy the treasures on display at the Museum and National Library.
