Financial support fund for Welsh learners

Financial support fund for Welsh learners

Financial support is available to Welsh learners to assist them to learn the language.

The aim of the fund, which is administered by the National Centre for Learning Welsh, is to contribute to costs such as child care, examinations, travel expenses and learning materials.

Efa Gruffudd Jones, Chief Executive of the National Centre for Learning Welsh, explains:

“We are delighted to be able to offer this support to Welsh learners across Wales. We hope to see more people enjoying learning the language and we are keen to facilitate learners by ensuring that they receive financial assistance when needed.”

The Centre works with a network of providers to deliver a range of language courses across Wales, from beginners to fluent speakers.

To apply for assistance, information and application forms can be found here or by contacting 0300 3234324.
