Learn Welsh with us!

There are lots of reasons to learn Welsh - family, community, social-life, work, culture.

If you live in Ceredigion, Powys or Carmathenshire, Aberystwyth University can support you to learn Welsh, from those who have no Welsh at all and need to start at Mynediad level - to supporting fluent Welsh speakers to improve their skills and confidence. 

Weekly classes commence in late September 2021.  All our classes in Ceredigion, Powys and Carmarthenshire are listed on this website. 

Due to COVID-19, all course will initially be offered online via Zoom. We will be following Aberystwyth University’s guidelines as to when it will be safe to return to the classroom (some classes only). We are not yet able to set a date as to when classroom teaching will return.
