Learning Welsh and Welsh music

Many learners have been inspired to learn Welsh by listening to Welsh music. Why not read Lars’s story? Lars, who is from Germany, is a massive fan of the Super Furry Animals.

Join us in 2021!

Remember the date - 5 February!

A group of Welsh learners from across Wales introduced their favourite Welsh songs on a special radio programme on Cymru FM at 12pm on 5 February. You can listen back to the programme on the Cymru FM website.

We also have a brand new podcast with singer and presenter Rhys Meirion speaking with Rhiannon Norfolk, who is learning Welsh with Learn Welsh The Vale, and who is training to be a Welsh tutor.

Rhys and Rhiannon talk about music, the Welsh language, their life, work and their interests. The podcast is available on Spotify, Apple Podcast and Deezer.
